JAMMU, July 8: BJP Displaced Unit Kashmir in a meeting under the leadership of T N Bhat demanded removal of encroachments from the land of Hindu shrines and other properties of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley.
As per a release, the meeting sought the information from the displaced Pandits for the land and other property encroached by the anti social elements over the years so that the issue will be taken with Government forcefully for its restoration. The meeting also urged the District Development Commissioners of Kashmir Valley to ensure the protection of Pandits land in their capacity as custodian of the said property. A K Pandita, Vijay Raina, and Bansi Bhat who are the office bearers of BJP Displaced Cell and who have been assigned the job to look into the problems of PM package employees in Valley also attended the meeting.
