BJP Displaced Unit discusses migrants’ problems

JAMMU, June 4: A meeting of  BJP Displaced Unit was held at Laxmipuram today under the chairmanship of T N Bhat its president.
As per a release, various burning issues of displaced Kashmiri Pandits were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting demanded immediate distribution of ration books among relief holders, bifurcation of pending ration cards, medical facilities to displaced people, allotment of quarters to non camp migrants, settling all the pending cases of registration of KPs, and issuance of ration to government employees and pensioners.
The meeting warned that BJP will stage a demonstration on June 6 in this regard. The meting was also addressed by A K Pandita, Mohan Lal Sopori, Ashok Bhat, Shuban Ganjoo, Satish Zutshi, J L Pandita, Bal Krishan Langoo, Dr Ashok Koul and others.
