JAMMU, June 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi today said that party as part its commitment to take every section of society along is trying to involve everyone so that a strong and vibrant India is built. This is the reason NDA Government at the Centre led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is leaving no stone unturned to cater to everyone’s need irrespective of caste, creed, region or religion.
Yudhvir was speaking at a meeting at Christian Colony, Prem Nagar. Complimenting local residents for supporting BJP in recently concluded general elections, Yudhvir said that this gesture is very encouraging that reflects their faith in the changing India. He hoped that in coming elections the local residents will continue to support BJP and send their true representatives to Assembly and Parliament.
Earlier, residents of Christian Colony, Prem Nagar along with Minority Cell vice-president, Rubina Akhter urged visiting BJP leader to look into some civic issues of their area. They said matter relating to potable water, electricity, transformed and water coolers should be taken up with authorities so that the locality becomes good enough in terms of civic amenities. They also sought proper functioning of sewerage and repair of lanes and drains.
Yudhvir assured them of all support and added that their issues will be taken up with concerned authorities. He urged them to continue to support and strengthen hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and also seek benefits of all Central schemes that are meant for development of each and every section of society.
Harvinder Singh, Lalli Mahajan, Sunita Gill, Rahat Bali, Mast Ram, Raju, Darshana Devi, Veena Devi, Bholi Devi, Veenu, Renu and others were present on the occasion.
