JAMMU, June 3: BJP is committed to provide all basic amenities like adequate drinking water, power, education, healthcare facilities and other civic facilities to people at their doorsteps.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta during tour of Shastri Nagar and Sanjay Nagar localities in Gandhi Nagar Constituency. He took stock of people’s problems and said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the people in J&K should rest assure that all the basic amenities will soon be at their doorsteps and peaceful dwelling will become reality in those areas which are still under the shadow of terrorism.
The senior BJP leader held tour of Wards 22 and 46 falling in Shastri Nagar and Sanjay Nagar respectively and interacted with the locals to get first hand information of problems they are facing. The residents of Ward No. 46 highlighted the issue of dismal state of affairs of the roads in the vicinity and demanded immediate repair.
Responding to the issue, Kavinder said that already the road works including Main Road Digiana to Suvidha Medicos, Sanjay Nagar and Lal Chowk to Masjid in Sanjay Nagar have been sanctioned and the work on aforesaid stretches shall commence very soon.
In Ward Number 22, Kavinder assured the public that the Nallah flowing in their ward will be developed and upgraded before the onset of monsoon season.
Vinay Gupta District President, Narender Singh Bunty Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee JMC, Narinder Gupta Koki, Sanjay Bhau, Sahil Mahajan General Secretary Satwari Mandal accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister during his tour to various wards.
