JAMMU, Dec 27: Reiterating commitment of the BJP towards addressing people’s aspirations, Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi said that the party is working towards fulfilling commitments made to the people and the Coalition Government has initiated projects for all round development of the State.
He was speaking at a gathering after dedicating to the people series of completed development works in the Ward Number 19, Rajiv Nagar here today. The fully completed work of the road on the Tawi bank in the area was dedicated to the people by Mr Sethi.
The people of the area felicitated Yudhvir Sethi and newly appointed District President Baldev Singh Billowria.
On the occasion, Yudhvir also initiated special Swachh Bharat campaign in the area.
While addressing the people, Yudhvir said that the coalition government has kick started series of development works in the Jammu province and special urban development projects which were lingering for last many years have been initiated.
“The Tawi bank would be developed as tourist destination and all required facilities for the people and visiting tourists would be made available,” he added.
He said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched exemplary social welfare schemes for women, poor, artisans and other such sections of the society which were earlier not covered under any insurance or welfare scheme. The Government is working with the aim to reach out to the last man in the society, he added.
Responding to the demands put forth by the people of the area, Yudhvir said all the genuine demands would be addressed on priority and very soon project for face lifting of the area would be initiated.
Baldev Singh Billowria while addressing the gathering called upon the people to support the party in upcoming elections of the urban local bodies as the party has been tirelessly devoted to the cause of the people.
