BJP committed to fulfill promises: Sat Sharma

ANANTNAG, May 1: BJP State president Sat Sharma (CA) has reiterated Party’s commitment to fulfill the promises made with people of the State. “BJP is committed to meet the aspirations of people in the State and for that scores of schemes have been launched to benefit the masses,” Sharma said while addressing a mammoth rally at South Kashmir Anantnag township here today. This was his first rally in Anantnag after becoming the State president of the party.
A huge gathering of party workers- including district party members received and welcome Sharma with garlands and scores of Kashmiri Shawls at Town Hall Park here.
He appealed people to cooperate the party in its developmental plan, saying, entire country was mired in the corruption during the Congress regime and BJP has been consistently working to recover the country into the development path in a transparent manner.
Sharma assured people that promises made by the party would be fulfilled and BJP in coalition with PDP will develop all the areas of the district.
“BJP is committed to meet the aspirations of people in the State. And for that scores of schemes have been launched to benefit the people,” he said.
Launching scathing attack on National Conference and Congress for putting the lives of common people at stack for settling their personal goals, Sharma said that the two parties have miserably failed to address the grievances’ of people.
“From last one year the roads are relatively in good condition and the macadamization of roads is going on for the welfare of public,” Sharma said.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul asked district administration to listen to the grievances’ of the people and solve the same in a time bound manner.
