JAMMU, June 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has the distinction to serve the society and nation with dedication and selflessness. This has been proved with the unprecedented development witnessed by Jammu and Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370 from the erstwhile State.
This was stated by Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP vice president while conducting door to door public outreach programme in Panchayat Jagti, Simbler Sinarak, Jammu East Assembly constituency as part of the celebrations of the successful completion of eight years good governance of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre.
Sethi spoke about the unprecedented development which was carried out in the past eight years under Modi regime. He said that the track record of BJP Government is so promising that people’s aspirations have touched the level next as they want everything from the Government with no compromise on any issue.
“The last eight years have been about fulfilling peoples aspirations. The Party is committed to work with the principles of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan,” Sethi said, complimenting the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah for abrogation of Article 370 which deprived the minority people residing in J&K of their rights.
Sethi said that BJP, being a nationalist party, cannot afford to discriminate people on the basis of caste, region, religion or language. He said that BJP has become the champion for the cause of deprived people like SCs, STs, and minority communities because no other party in the country is ready to accept them as they are afraid of losing the mandate of the majority community.
Sethi asked party cadre that the public outreach programme should be well utilized to tell the masses about the landmark achievements of the BJP Government and its upcoming plans to achieve more in the development course and progress of the country.
Among others who were present include Ajay Sharma, president Nagrota Mandal, Sunny Sharma general secretary, Subash, district Working Committee Member, Rayaz Ahmed, State secretary BJP ST Morcha and Shamsher Singh.
