JAMMU, July 31: Yuva Chetana organised a programme at Kedar Ghat in Varanasi to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj-a well known saint.
The programme started by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Swami Sarveshwaranand Ji Saraswati, Swami Abhishek Brahamchari, former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, Dr. Nirmal Singh, Allahabad High Court Judges K.J Thakur and Neerak Tiwari, National Convener of Yuva Chetana, Rohit Kumar, UPPSC member, Prof. R.N Tripathi, member of Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Dr. Brij Bhushan Ojha and others.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Nirmal Singh said, after 75 years of Independence PM Modi established J&K as crown of India.
He further said: “Now there will be direct communication between Kashi and Valley.”
Swami Sarveshwaranand Saraswati Ji said that Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj was a great personality.
Swami Abhishek Brahamchari hoped that PM Modi being a true Sanatani will surely establish a Ved Shastra Research Centre in memory of Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj.
Allahabad High Court Judge K.J Thakur said that all should visit Kashmir and work to improve conditions there.
Industrialist Mayank Gupta, Dr. Ritu Garg, Dr. R.N Roy, Satyam Avasthi, Mukesh Pandey, Sandeep Brahamchari, Dr. Girish Dutt, Govind Mishra, Abhinayak Mishra, Rahul Shukla and others were also present on the occasion.
