JAMMU, Oct 2: Birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by Aggarwal Sabha here at Abhinav Theatre.
The function started with Havan at Aggarwal Sabha. ‘Purna Ahuti’ was attended by senior members of the Aggarwal Biradri.
The main function was held at Abhinav Theatre and inaugurated by hoisting of flag and lighting traditional lamp by president of the Sabha, Dewan Chand Bansal, who was accompanied by Hansraj Aggarwal, senior vice-president, Hardeep Aggarwal, vice president, Anop Mittal, general secretary, Rajesh Bindal, secretary and Shambu Aggarwal, treasurer.
Dr Piyush Singla, Deputy CEO, Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Board, was the chief guest. In his address, Dr Piyush highlighted the role of Aggarwals in the society and guided the members present in the function.
A huge number of members of Aggarwal Biradri from all over the State including women and children attended the function. The programme was compered by Hardeep Aggarwal and Shally Aggarwal.
