JAMMU, July 23: GS Accounts Institute, Lower Moti Bazaar (Parade) today celebrated the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad.
All the staff members as well as students paid floral tributes to Chandra Shekhar Azad by garlanding his statue and raising slogans in his and his aides’ memory. The entire Institute reverberated with slogans of patriotism.
Girish Sharma, the owner as well as one of the faculty members of the institute while speaking on the occasion threw light on the life of Azad and advised the students to follow the footsteps of the great freedom fighter.
Earlier the programme started with recitation of verses of the Ramayan Path and Bhajan by programme coordinator, Ravinder Kumar, who also presented welcome address and threw light on the importance of the day.
