Billawaria inaugurates lanes, drains in Gangyal

JAMMU, Sept 26: BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria today inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drains at Gangyal area of Ward No. 56 in Gandhi Nagar constituency. The works were constructed by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at an estimated cost of Rs 10 lakh and lanes & drains which were in bad condition were prioritized by BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria in order to provide all sorts of basic amenities to the masses at their doorsteps.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that the construction and remodelling of these lanes and drains were necessary as in rainy season the water from rains always entered inside the homes of the local residents and keeping in view the channelized system of water in these areas, the works were taken up in order to provide best possible facilities to the residents of the area.
Highlighting the achievements, Billawaria said that Ward 56 Gangyal has progressed a lot towards development and in nearly last three years, the infrastructural development pertaining to roads, setting up of new transformers, replacing old water pipes with fresh ones, construction of community hall Ram Lila Ground Gangyal, construction of 50 bedded Gangyal Hospital, construction of deep drains and other works were kept on priority and it is the result of same that crores of rupees were spent in the Ward, which has led to a big change towards modernization of Gangyal area in every aspect.
The locals expressed their gratitude to the Billawaria for paying special attention to the area. Billawaria was accompanied by JMC officials, Ranjit Singh, Pitamber Sharma, Pankaj Singh (Romy), Sunil Sharma, Dalbir Singh, Dev Raj Sharma, Jaswant Chib, Om Nath and others.
