KATHUA, Nov 1 : Acting sternly against illegal mining within the district, Kathua police under the overall supervision of SSP, R C Kotwal seized three tractors along with trolleys which were engaged in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Billawar.
Police said a team of PS Billawar headed by Inspector, Sunil Kumar Sharma, SHO under the supervision of SDPO Billawar, Arvind Kumar seized three tractors along with trolleys in which one bearing Registration Number JK08H-6207 and other two bearing unknown registration numbers which were involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdictional area of PS Billawar.
Meanwhile, all the vehicles were seized and immediately handed over to the officials of Geological and Mining Department, Kathua for further legal proceedings.
