KATHUA, May 20:- Police reunited two missing ladies with their family members within the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Billawar.
Police said on December 23 last year one person namely Mohd. Mokeem, son of Mohd. Rafiq of Lahari Morha, Tumbu tehsil Billawar, district, Kathua lodged a written complaint in Billawar PS regarding missing of his wife namely Ruksana Bano , aged 23 years. Moreover on dated August 20 last year one lady namely Sakina Begum, wife of Lt. Mohd.Hussain of Khaned at present, Dher tehsil Billawar through a written application informed Billawar Police Station regarding missing of her daughter in law namely Razia Begum, wife of Ashfaq Ahmed of Dher tehsil Billawar, also aged 23 years.
Police said on receiving their complaints, the missing reports were entered at the PS Billawar vide GD No. 15 dated 23- 12-2025 and vide GD No.16 dated 20-08-2025. In this regard, a team of PS Billawar led by SHO Billawar under the close supervision of SDPO Billawar with the help of technical assistance recovered the missing ladies. After completing all legal formalities the missing ladies were handed over to their legal heirs.
