KATHUA, Mar 21: In continuation to stringent measures against illicit liquor menace, Billawar police led by SHO Joginder Singh Chib today cracked down on illicit liquor, conducted raid at Dungara and destroyed 280 litres of Lahan and seized about 15 litres of illicit liquor.
Police team of Police Station Billawar during raid in village Kishanpur Dungara, Tehsil Billawar, destroyed 280 litres of lahan , seized about 15 litres of illicit liquor and destroyed makeshift production units used for manufacturing of liquor.
Police Station, Billawar registered FIR No 28/2020 U/S 48(E) Excise Act and booked two persons namely Vijay Kumar, S/o Ramelu Ram, R/o Dungara Tehsil Billawar and Parkash Chand S/o Teju Ram R/o Barota Tehsil Ramkot and investigation set into motion.
