JAMMU, Nov 10: A biker was killed today in a road mishap in Domana area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Rohit Singh (20) son of Tarsem Singh, resident of Samachak,” a police official said, adding, the mishap occurred at about 7 PM near Patoli on Jammu-Akhnoor Road.
He said that Rohit was travelling on his bike bearing registration number JK02BT-7478 when after being hit by an unknown vehicle, he lost balance on his two-wheeler and it collided with a bus bearing registration number JK02CJ-1847.
“Rohit received serious injuries in the mishap and was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 9 PM,” the official said, adding, the body was sent to mortuary room of the Hospital while a case in this connection was registered under relevant sections at police station Domana and investigation started.
