JAMMU, Jan 24: Sarwal police arrested a biker along with charas from Rajpura area.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sarwal police post laid a naka at Rajpura and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered 50 grams of charas from the possession of the rider and arrested him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Dimpy Sharma alias Manu, a resident of Raipur-Domana.
A case under Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at Sarwal police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Sarwal police post SI Vikas Hans made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bakshi Nagar police station Inspector Ashwani Sharma, SDPO West Surinder Choudhary, SP City Vinod Kumar and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
