SRINAGAR, July 23: The age-old traditions, rituals namely ‘Bhoomi-Pujan’, ‘Navgrah Pujan’ Chhari-Pujan and ‘Dhawajarohan’ that mark the commencement of annual Chhari-Mubarak of Shri Amarnath Ji yatra traditionally will be performed at Pahalgam on auspicious occasion of ‘Ashad-Purnima’ (Vyas-Purnima) that falls on July 24, tomorrow.
This was stated by Mahant Deependra Giri Ji Maharaj the custodian of holy mace of Shri Amarnath Ji. He said the pooja will be performed in a traditional way at Pahalgam from 10 am to 1 pm.
Mahant Ji said all other rituals to annual Amarnath Ji yatra will also be performed as per tradition.
