DODA, Jan 20: The residents of Tehsil Bhella and Tehsil Chirala have decided to boycott parliamentaru and assembly elections as a mark of protest against alleged Government failure to provide Degree College in the area.

The residents today held a protest at tehsil headquarters Bhella against deleting the name of Bhella while sanctioning new colleges in the State.
All the newly elected sarpanchs and panchs of 17 panchayats and residents of both the tehsils assembled at Bhella tehsil Headquarters and held protest for ignoring their area while announcing new colleges.
They said earlier all formalities including feasibility reports were finalized and they were assured that college will be established in tehsil Bhella, but now its astonishing that the name of village has been deleted in the final list of places where new colleges are being opened.
The residents in general and sarpanchs and panchs of all the blocks of both tehsils in particular have decided not to participate in forthcoming parliamentary and assembly elections as a mark of protest.
While appealing Central Government and J&K Governor to issue order for establishing of new degree college at Bhella, the villagers said that that no political leader will be allowed to visit in the area for campaign during elections.
