JAMMU, June 2: Bhaderwah Hospital Bachao Front (BHBF) has decides to go tough to get Court order regarding hospital issue implemented in letter and spirit.
A decision to this effect was taken in a well attended core committee meeting of the Front held today under the chairmanship of Front convener Ranbir Manhas.
According to a hand out issued here the Core Committee took serious note of the non-implementation of High Court order on a PIL filed by the Front wherein the BMO was asked to ensure round the clock emergency services in the Old Hospital Complex.
“Even after lapse of more than two months since the issuance of the Court order the ‘Emergency Hospital’ remains non-functional except the OPD which indeed remains functional from 10 am to 4 pm”, claimed the front adding that after 4 pm, the hospital remains virtually closed without Doctors and the required paramedical staff thereby putting the patients to acute hardships.
The Front also took stock of the BMO’s inability to implement Court order claiming that he has no staff available to run two Hospitals simultaneously.
In this backdrop the Front decided to seek Court intervention for directing the Commissioner Secretary or the Health Director to provide separate staff for the ‘Emergency Hospital’ Bhadarwah besides preparing public for agitation to get the Court order implemented in letter and spirit.
