KATHUA, Aug 14: Director, Social Welfare Jammu, Dr. Bharat Bhushan today inaugurated first ever “Gallery of Food Caterers” in Kathua.
The Gallery of Food Caterers – first of its kind in Kathua has been opened by an educated unemployed youth of the town Deepak Kumar.
Som Raj Majotra, political activist, Peer Mukhtiar Chand, Harbans Lal Madgotra, Vijay Sharma of Rajindra Foods, Kathua and scores of other persons who were present on the occasion congratulated the budding entrepreneur.
Deepak Kumar apprised that after graduation from Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Jammu, he underwent training in Catering and Hospitality Sector from ITC owned Hotel Fortune Rivera, Jammu, Ananda Himalayas Group of Hotels, Rishikesh, Uttrakhand and Chennai (Tamil Nadu). He added that Gallery of Food Caterers Kathua has come up with innovative concepts of wedding events planning, event decorations and has Malaysian ovens besides newly introduced equipments required for catering.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan congratulated the budding entrepreneur and wished that his venture will prove to be successful. He said that the Government Jobs are limited and venturing into entrepreneurship not only creates employment for the entrepreneur but also gives employment to others as well.
