MENDHAR, May 26: The week long Bhagwat Saptah Katha culminated today at village Ari Potha of Mendhar in district Poonch.
The Bhagwat Saptah, which started on May 20 in the premises of Shiv Mandir Ari Potha , was organized for peace, unity and eternal peace for those who laid down their lives for the country.
On the concluding day, a Kalash Yatra was also taken out from venue of Saptah to the holy river of Ari . The religious function culminated with solemnization of Maha Yagya and Puja Archana. A large number of devotees took part in the religious function. The devotees were served Bhandara.
During the seven day long Saptah, Pandit Phool Kumar Sharma Ji Maharaj delivered religious sermons. The people from villages of Ari Potha Mendhar, Harni, Mankote Gohlad etc participated in the religious function, which was organized by Shiv Mandir Ari Potha Committee under supervision of chairman Ranjit Sharma and Shiv Mandir Ari Potha Committee members.
