JAMMU, May 26: A team of District Special Branch, Jammu tracked and apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Jarnail Singh, son of Harpal Singh, a resident of Ward Number 2 Chatha.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 127/10 under section 302, 201 and 120-B RPC with Police Station Bari Brahmana. Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC also stands issued against the absconder.
The accused has been handed over to Bari Brahmana Police for further investigation.
