Bhagat urges parents not to provide bikes, mobile phones to minor students

JAMMU, Jan 28: Senior BJP leader, Bali Bhagat has appealed to the parents of the students not to provide bikes and mobile phones to their wards who are yet to attain maturity age.
He said that such things with under-age students become a cause of unnecessary distraction and adversely affect their studies.
While addressing a gathering of parents, teachers and students at annual day function of Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public High School at Lower Barnai here today where Bali Bhagat was chief guest, he said that students are the future of the nation and teachers and parents play a vital role in moulding them into the best citizens.
He said that it is human nature to provide all the latest facilities to the children by their parents but there is a need to exercise strict restraint in case of certain gadgets including mobile phones and motor bikes.
The students mesmerized the audience with their performance on stage presenting the culture of Ladakh, Kashmir, Jammu and Punjab.
The programme concluded with distribution of prizes among the students by the chief guest.
BJP leaders Surinder Singh Gilli and Ved Parkash Sharma were guests of honour while BJP leaders Swaran Singh, Ajit Singh Salathia, Raj Dev Singh, former Sarpanch, Rohit and Ramesh Singh were also present on the occasion.
