JAMMU, Sept 17: MLA RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat today kick started blacktopping of a road connecting Kotli Mian Fateh to Mehmudpur, in RS Pura.
The work was inaugurated in the presence of X-En R&B, AEE R&B, JE, other officers and some prominent locals including Ashwani Kumar, MD, Gold Advertisers.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Gagan Bhagat said that the previous Government always thought of their personal benefits and gave a hard blow on the face of common man by indulging in corrupt practices and doing low quality work which made the life of common man miserable.
He said that this time no compromise will be done with the quality of work and special care will be taken in its execution. Bhagat said that he himself will supervise the work so that the quality can be maintained and people don’t have to suffer in the future.
MLA RS Pura said that he has promised to make this constituency a model one and providing good roads is the first step towards that. “People themselves will observe this in future as it is going to be very beneficial not only for one but for all as quality roads help every section of the society, good roads helps in easy transportation which in turn increase the output of every trade whether it is business or some other trade”, he added.
He directed the concerned department to complete the work in time and also take care that traffic doesn’t get interrupted due to this work.
