JAMMU, June 30: In view of party’s forthcoming membership drive, BJP today held meetings in Jammu and Udhampur.
BJP State President, Ravinder Raina, chaired the meeting at Jammu in which BJP leaders from party’s organizational districts—Jammu, Jammu West, Jammu Rural, Akhnoor and R.S Pura participated along with leaders from Displaced Kashmiri Samaaj District.
Former DyCM Kavinder Gupta, former Minister Sat Sharma, party State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, State Incharge for membership drive Jugal Dogra, State co-incharge for membership drive Priya Sethi also addressed the meeting.
Meanwhile, BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi chaired the meeting at Udhampur which was attended by party leaders from party’s organizational districts Udhampur and Reasi. Party State Vice-President Pawan Khajuria and former Minister Ajay Nanda also addressed the meeting.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, laid thrust on the relevance of direct communication of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with masses in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme. He discussed the ways of water conservation and topics like rain water harvesting and relevance of ponds in retaining water table level of ground.
Raina also spoke at length on the ‘Sangathan Parv’ and ‘Membership Drive’ as its 1st leg, while laying down complete programme to take this membership drive to the booths.
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, said that today, under BJP’s dispensation, a sense of positivity has prevailed upon the entire nation.
Yudhvir Sethi discussed the thoroughfare of party’s membership campaign and asked party leaders to come up with the roadmap for bringing up maximum membership for the party under the present campaign.
Many other leaders of the party also attended the meetings.
