JAMMU, May 6: Bishnah Cricket Club (BCC) thrashed Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) by just 3 runs in the nail biting second match of the 3 match series, being played on drugs awareness at Government Degree College (GDC), Bishnah. BCC equalized the series by 1-1.
After winning the toss, BCC led by Ashwani Dogra opted to bat first and set a target of 180 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
Motton scored highest 38 runs in 20 balls while Ashwani Dogra and Sachin scored 30 runs each.
For SKCC, Jimmy took 4 wickets, while Arun and Rahul took two wickets each. Manu Khajuria scalped 1 wicket.
In the second inning, SKCC led by Aman Cheema lost the match by just 3 runs. Anil Langeh scored highest 38 runs in 15 balls for the team while Manu Khajuria scored 29 runs in 10 balls. Aman Cheema also chipped in 20 runs in 11 balls.
For BCC, Mottan took 3 wickets, while Manik scalped 2 wickets. Vicky, Sachin and Muna took 1 wicket each.
Motton of BCC was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
