BBIA organises seminar on GST regime

JAMMU, Sept 6: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA)  organised an interaction session on the various provisions of GST and the filing of returns as per GST Act.
The seminar was conducted in collaboration with Ram Parkash, Superintendent GST,  Ashok Kumar, Superintendent GST,  Kishu Gupta, Superintendent GST along with Inspectors of  Range I, II, III at BBIA Bhawan today in presence of  Lalit Mahajan president,  Ajay Langer  general secretary,  Vivek Singhal secretary,  Viraaj Malhotra, treasurer BBIA  and members of  the  Association in order to ensure that assesses may not feel any difficulty in filing of various returns under GST regime.
During his welcoming address, Lalit Mahajan conveyed his gratitude to officers of GST, Jammu for sparing there valuable time to educate the members in respect of provisions of GST and other related matters.  Lalit Mahajan, president also requested officers of GST, Jammu for conducting a special seminar at BBIA Bhawan on  reverse charge mechanism.
The seminar was addressed  by Ram Parkash, Superintendent GST with a detailed deliberations on each aspect of GST Act for the filing of various returns,  reverse charge mechanism, to the members present regarding the single taxation system  that is,  one nation one tax, reduction in cascading effect of tax on the tax payer as well as to consumer and the benefits of new tax regime followed by an interaction session.
