JAMMU, Oct 20: A twelve members delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) led by its president Annil Suri, visited Canton Fair-116th International Exhibition held at Guangzhou in China from October 15 to 19.
The BBIA team including a woman entrepreneur returned today after a rich experience at Chinese exhibition. This export and import fair, also known as Canton Fair or the International Exhibition for the electronics and electrical appliances, machinery, hardware and tools, building material and energy resources, is held bi-annually at Guangzhou in China every year. The fair is a comprehensive one with the longest history and highest level and the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety and the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turn over in China.
Mr Suri sharing his experience disclosed that Canton Fair attracts more than 24,000 China’s best foreign trade companies with good credibility and sound financial capabilities. Over 500 oversea and large trade groups also participated in the fair. Canton fair is a platform mainly for export and import, with various flexible patterns of trade. Besides, traditional way of negotiating against samples, the fair holds `Canton Fair’ online. Various types of business activities such as economic and technical co-operations and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation etc are also carried out in flexible ways. Businessmen around the globe assemble there to develop trade relationships and gather business information.
BBIA delegation is the only J&K Industrial delegation visiting International Exhibitions supported by MSME, Govt of India on regular basis. Total 12 members from BBIA were the part of delegation.
