KATHUA, Feb 1: Basic Health Employees Association, district Kathua, held a meeting with CMO Kathua and highlighted demands of the employees.
The Association members, led by Vinod Kumar Sharma, general secretary, Basic Health Employees Association and. Sushil Sudan, president JKMEF, apprised the CMO Kathua Basant Kumar Sharma about genuine demands of BHEA, which include;
enhancement of fixed travelling allowance from Rs 45/- to Rs. 2000, issuing of RMP after retirement in favour of Basic Health Employees, cancelation of Night and Wait duty of Basic Health Workers, filling up the posts of DMO’s, SHI’s, JHI’s through DPC as earlier as possible and multipurpose training to new promotee BHWs.
The CMO assured to solve the problems of Basic Health Employees under his jurisdiction, especially cancellation of Night & Wait duties of Basic Health Workers.
Later, an adhoc body of Basic Health Employees of District Kathua was also framed with Sohan Lal as president, Lokesh Raj as general secretary, Narinder Kumar as organizer, Parveen Kumar as publicity secretary and Amit Kumar Mamnia as cashier.
