SAMBA, Sept 13: Bari Brahmana Police has arrested one person near Patli Morh Bari Brahmana and recovered one kg poppy straw (bhuki) from his possession. He has been identified as Tilak Raj S/o Ram Lal R/o W.No 5 Vijaypur.
The drug peddler was arrested by a team of Bari Brahmana Police party and District Special Bureau Samba (DSB) headed by Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SHO Bari Brahmana under the close supervision of Usmaan Choudhary, SDPO Bari Brahmana and on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Anil Magotra.
The accused person was arrested on spot along with contraband items. In this regard case FIR No. 174/2017 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Bari Brahmana and investigation is going on.
