SAMBA, Oct 21: Bari Brahmana Police under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma, SSP Samba arrested one drug peddler and recovered 460 intoxicant capsules from his possession.
Police said a police party of Police Station, Bari Brahmana headed by Inspector, Ravinder Singh, Rakwal, SHO P/S Bari Brahmana under the supervision of Sunil Kesar, SDPO Bari Brahmana during patrolling near Rattna Palace, Bari Brahmana intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances. During his frisking, one polythene bag containing 46 strips of Foridol Tramodole Hydrochloride Capsules (450 Capsules) was recovered from his possession.
The accused person was identified as Baba Ghar Singh, Son of Saudagar Mal of Kothey Sanian Bishnah, Jammu. He was arrested and the contraband item was also seized. In this regard, a case FIR No. 195/2018 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Bari Brahmana and investigation taken up.
