KARGIL, Nov 28: Bar Association Kargil has expressed concern over discriminatory attitude of the administration towards redressing their issues.

“After 20 days pen down strike, the Bar Association members reached the office of Secretary of LG Ladakh to project the demands, but the Secretary failed to pay any heed”, they added.
They said that the Bar Association had submitted a memorandum of demands to LG Ladakh, adding that the demands include registrations powers of documents shall remain in court premises for public convenience, establishment of Consumer Court at Kargil, establishment of High Court for administration of UT Ladakh, construction of court building at Kurbathang Platue Kargil, appointment of Public Prosecutor and Standing Counsel and functioning of District Jail Kargil.
The members of the Bar Association said that the demands projected were for the benefit of the public, but were completely ignored.
They expressed resentment against the concerned authorities for redressing the demands of the Bar Association.
