Bansal non-committal on sacking

NEW DELHI, May 10: Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal was tonight non-committal as to whether he was out of the Union Cabinet as TV channels said that he has been sacked.

“I cannot guide TV channels’ reporting. I have nothing to add,” he said brusquely when asked to comment on media reports that he has quit.

Asked whether he has been called by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Bansal said, “I am not being called by the PM. I have said what I had to say. I have nothing to add.”

He went to the Railway Ministry for a brief period and returned home in his official vehicle.
