JAMMU, Apr 1: Congress candidate for Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency Vikramaditya Singh along with Former Minister and President DCC Kathua Dr Manohar lal Sharma, former Deputy Speaker Ghulam Haider Malik and senior leader Prem Sagar Aziz today conducted tour of Loi Malhar, Machedi and Bani.
Vikramaditya along with other leaders held public meetings in these areas and asked voters to vote for Congress party in upcoming parliamentary election.
While speaking on the occasion, Vikramaditya Singh said that present MP from the area Dr Jitendra Singh has totally neglected these areas as he has not seen any mark of development in these areas. “The condition of roads in these areas is very bad”, he added.
Singh requested the people of the area to make him winner in upcoming elections by voting for him and assured people that if he wins he will leave no stone unturned for development of these areas on all fronts.
While reacting to recent statement of BJP Chief Ravinder Raina, wherein Raina said that Congress is party of traitors, Former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that BJP Government both at the centre and the State had failed to do any developmental work and now in order to hide their failures BJP leadership is giving such statements. He dared BJP leadership to garner votes on the name of development instead of indulging on other issues.
