JAMMU, Sept 21: Thakur Balvir Singh, MLC Billawar, today met with Education Minister, Sayed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and discussed issues concerning education sector in Jammu Province, particularly in district Kathua.
He also discussed the problems faced by ReT teachers in Jammu province regarding their salaries and other various issues. He highlighted the problems faced by students regarding need of more manpower for teaching and other requirements in the higher secondary schools.
He demanded desk for the students of Higher Secondary School Ghagwal and drinking water facilities and computer labs in other schools of district Kathua.
The Education Minister gave a patient hearing to the issues highlighted by the MLC and ensured early disposal of all the problems raised by him. The Minister ensured the MLC that he will take every step for the better future of the students.
