Bali releases Panchang Vikermi

JAMMU,Apr 24: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today released calendar (Panchang) of Vikermi Samvat-2073, Yugand 5118 published by the Akhil Bhartiya Sanskar Bharti Jammu and Kashmir, a social organization at a function held at the Press Club here.
The calendar (Panchang) depicts the detail of festivals and other important events being observed in the country as per Vikermi Samvat.
Lauding the efforts of the organization for bringing out such an informative calendar, the Minister said that it will help in reviving and preserving the rich traditions and heritage of the Indian civilization which is need of the hour. He said that social organizations must play a role for promoting the Indian culture and traditions so that the younger generation carry forward the same. He said that western culture has influenced the Indian society hugely which does not auger well for the posterity and need concrete steps to keep alive the rich values.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included, Mahant Ram Darbar Temple Peer Kho, Swami Shivenduji, Members of the Organization Dr. Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Puran Chand Sharma, Payare Lal Savedeshi, Dinesh from Press Club Jammu, Neeru Sharma, Ajay Bharti etc.
