JAMMU, Oct 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation Limited, today released the loan subsidy in favour of unemployed male and female loanees of backward classes category hailing from different areas of Srinagar district.
In a simple programme held at Camp Office, Srinagar, Vice-Chairperon of the Corporation Balbir Ram Rattan, along with Managing Director. Ravinder Kumar Pandita, Financial Advisor/CAO, Vijay Kumar Tak, Divisional Manager (Kashmir) Arshad Majid Bhat and District Manager Srinagar, Arif Haleem Khan, handed over the cheques of the subsidy to the loan beneficiaries, whose cases have been sanctioned under bank tie-up scheme. A total of eight cheques of the subsidy were handed over to the beneficiaries falling under backward class category for setting up of their income generating units, mostly related to embroidery, shawl embroidery and Ari work.
Balbir Ram Rattan, on this occasion, stressed upon the beneficiaries to make proper use of the loan availed from the Corporation/ financial institutions adding that every one would have to work hard to make their ventures successful in this era of competition.
Ravinder Kumar Pandita elaborated on the bank tie-up scheme and said that the Corporation after receiving the application forms from the loan aspirants, processes the same and sponsors these cases to their service area banks for providing loan component with subsidy being provided by the Corporation.
