JAMMU, Mar 30: Apni Party State general secretary, Vijay Bakaya today expressed grave concern at the alarming situation in Jammu due to  unscheduled power cuts amid increasing heat of Summer.
While talking to a delegation Bakaya stated that unscheduled and prolonged cuts have become a norm in the last few days and no one in the PDD seems to know the reason or have a remedy.
“Ordinarily public is informed about the schedule of cuts in the Summer when there is shortage of power. Even that is not being done,” Bakaya said.
He was told by the delegation that more than one meter is being installed on one pole in an unplanned manner and this is causing a lot of resentment among the public.
Bakaya cautioned the PDD that it should immediately resolve all technical problems if any and manage shortage of power scientifically.
He said this is required to be urgently done before Summer intensifies so that the public is assured that the PDD is doing all in its power to make the public endure the heat in the coming days which is likely to be above normal.
