JAMMU, Nov 24: Municipal Magistrate Jammu Parvin Pandoh has rejected the bail application of Rohingyas namely Mansur Kamal and Mohd Yaseen, who was arrested by the police for theft in Grid Station Sidhra.
After hearing APP Vikram Parihar for the UT, the Municipal Magistrate observed, “the accused are Myanmar nationals so if the accused are granted bail at this stage, there is every possibility of the accused absconding and thereby evading the due course of justice”.
“The criminal law set in motion vide FIR in the instant case may never end in the culmination of trial thereby affecting the criminal justice system. The applicants are not entitled to concession of bail at this stage”, the court said.
