JAMMU, Feb 23: CJM Samba Ajay Kumar Gupta today rejected bail application of Suraj Paul, son of Balwant Raj of Ramgarh, who was allegedly involved in NDPSA case.
After hearing Senior PO Anil Saini for the State whereas Advocate Sukhwinder Singh for the applicant, the court observed, “in the police report as well as in the objections filed by Senior PO it has been mentioned that the 275 number of Parvon Spas plus capsules weighing 630 gm each were recovered from the accused”, adding “the total weight of the capsules falls within the category of immediate quantity and this court lacks jurisdiction to entertain the present bail application”.
Accordingly, the court rejected the bail application.
