MUMBAI : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has jetted off to be a part of the pre-wedding ceremony of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav’s grandnephew with RJD chief Lalu Yadav’s daughter in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh.
Bachchan, 72, took to Twitter to inform about the same and the flight diversions.
“Took off for Saifai for wedding event… Bad visibility.. Flight diverted to Lucknow… Waiting for clearance… Safety better,” Bachchan tweeted.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the ‘Tilak ceremony’ of Mainpuri MP Tej Pratap Yadav alias Teju with Lalu’s youngest daughter Raj Laxmi.
Apart from Modi and Bachchan, several other prominent political leaders are expected to attend the function. (AGENCIES)
