JAMMU, May 3: Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of J&K Ghulam Nabi Azad today batted for early Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
“If election happens (in Jammu and Kashmir) and the power is given in the hands of people, then I believe all will be well,” Azad said in New Delhi in a brief chat with media persons.
He also offered Namaz at Parliament Street Mosque in the Union capital on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
“It’s a matter of joy to get some relief from COVID finally. People reached the road because of space constraints. May walls of hatred break for eternity,” Azad said.
