AYC organises convention

AYC leaders during one day convention at Rajouri on Friday.

JAMMU, Dec 21: Assembly Youth Congress, Kalakote, oragnised one day convention near Government Degree College, Rajouri, in which large number of students hailing from various areas of Kalakote constituency participated.
Wasim Kohli, president, AYC Kalakote, in his address said that benefit of various Central schemes like MNREGA and mid-day meal does not reach to the common and down trodden people.
He said that the poor and the deserving people do not get the ration supplied to various Anganwadi centers.
Kohli stressed upon the students to come forward with their grievances regarding the procurement of PRC/ ration cards ST/ SC/ OBC certificates.
President, GDC, Rajouri Attar Mehmood said that the transporters are charging full fare from the students rather then giving concession, on which Wasim Kohli assured that he will take up the matter with concerned RTO.
Among others present were Zahir Abbas, president, AYC Rajouri, Kafeel Ahmed, president, Panchayat Sair Kalakote, Sheraz-ul- Hassan Mirza, Surjit Singh, block president, NSUI, Kalakote and students.
