JAMMU, Apr 3: Satwari police arrested an auto driver along with 24 under weight LPG cylinders.
As per police sources, an information was received that M/s Shiva Gas Agency at Last Morh Gandhi Nagar is cheating people by selling under weight cylinders and making illegitimate profits.
Acting over the information, a team from Satwari police station conducted raid and found 24 under weight LPG cylinders from an auto and arrested its driver.
The arrested driver has been identified as Sampat, son of Uma Ram, a resident of Jodhpur Rajasthan, at present Gangyal.
A case under FIR Number 78/17 under Section 420 RPC and 3/7 Essential Commodities Act has been registered at Satwari police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO South Mohammad Rafiq Manhas and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
