SRINAGAR, Apr 3: The Baramulla administration has failed to drain the water logged ground of a Government school in a Pattan village, hampering the education of atleast 60 students.
The parents of these students alleged that there was flood-like situation at Government High School Andargam as the sports ground of the institute was completely inundated under water but the authorities aren’t concerned and have failed to pump-out the water.
“There are about 60 students studying in the school which has a 15-member staff and all of them have to cross the stagnant water to reach to their classes,” they alleged.
They said the school is only a kilometers from the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway, but still the authorities neglected it.
They appealed the concerned authorities to take immediately measures for de-watering so that students haven’t to face incontinences.
