REASI, Aug 20: Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling in Mahore and rescued 5 animals besides arresting the accused person.
Acting on specific information that some persons were on way to Kashmir via Budhal along with bovine animals without any legal permission, a Police team headed by SHO Chassana, Inspector Salim Altaf Raina, the supervision of SDPO Mahore Ayaz Ahmad, laid a naka near Sungri Bridge Chana Lower, Chassana.
Police team intercepted the smugglers and rescued 5 bovine animals from the accused namely Roshan Din of Channa Mohra Bhagei Chassana, who was also arrested..
A case FIR No. 36/2015 U/S 188 RPC has been registered in this connection at Police Station Chassana.
