Refer news item ‘Leh shocked over terror attack on Mahabodhi temple’ DE July 8.
It is not only Leh but the whole of country and humanity that was shocked over this terror attack. It is not merely an attack on a religious place but attack on the principles of brotherhood, love and peace which Lord Buddha taught to the world.
The attack further underlines the fact that terrorism still has a solid base in the country and the propounders of terrorism want to create disharmony and disaffection among various faiths living in the country. It is the time that people of the country irrespective of their religious faiths fight these anti-social elements.
The attack is a reminder to the Government that there is no room for complacency viz-a-viz fight against terrorism. The Nation has to use every means to exterminate terrorism from the country which is home to many faiths, so that people here live in mutual co-existence and communal harmony.
