Assessment cum Measurement Camps for disabled children concludes

UDHAMPUR, June 6: Assessment cum Measurement Camps for disabled children of the age group 6-14 years organised as per the provision of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) under the supervision of Chief Education Officer (CEO) OP Sharma concluded.
Doctors and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India, Kanpur, in collaboration with Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Ministry of HMRD, New Delhi, assessed 1040 children, out of which 332 children were identified as beneficiaries.
The Doctors deputed for the assessment purpose namely Dinesh Verma and Sudhir Kumar from AUMCO, Kanpur, had been very compassionate and conducted the assessment camps in the right perspective. They will submit their reports to the concerned quarters to provide benefit to the beneficiaries within months time.
During the camps, Zonal Education Officers, Zonal Education Planning Officers, District Resource Group Members (DRGMs), teachers in different zones remained associated with the successful conduct of camps.
Chief Education Officer (CEO), OP Sharma, while interacting with the stake-holders, expressed gratitude to all the concerned for making their contribution and hoped that the needy children would soon be benefited.
