ASKPC, KPS hail Parliament resolution

JAMMU, Mar 15: All State Kashmir Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in its meeting here today while hailing the resolution adopted by Indian Parliament which rejected the resolution adopted by Pak Parliament asking India to return the body of Afzal Guru to its family said it is clear signal to separatist forces in the Kashmir valley.
The meeting which was chaired by ASKPC president H L Chatta while terming the resolution of Pak senate as an interference in internal affairs of India also urged the Union Government to adopt another resolution in the Parliament to declare Pakistan a terrorist state.
It said the resolution adopted by the Parliament today has send a strong message across the country that entire nation is one in fighting terrorism and there are no two thoughts to the same.
The meeting said those forces within the country who support the terrorism in Kashmir should keep this in mind that no power on earth can force India to leave even an inch of its land and the nation is also committed to Parliament resolution of 1994 on PoK.
The meeting also warned those forces who are demanding revocation of AFSPA and withdrawal of security forces from the State to mend their ways.
Meanwhile, Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) has also hailed the Parliament resolution saying that this has strengthened the nationalist forces in the state and given a blow to those who speak the language of separatists.
The KPS chief K K Khosa said that nation is firm in its resolve to fight terrorism and it has conveyed its feelings to Pakistan in strongest terms through the unanimous Parliament resolution today.
