JAMMU, July 21: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president R K Raina appointed more Executive members.
As per a release, Shiban Khaibri was appointed head of Political Advisory Committee, Veena Gurutu was appointed president Women Wing ASKPC, Ravi Raina, Sudhir Dhar and S K Bhat were appointed as president Youth Wing, head of Media Cell and head of Mediation and Conciliation Cell pertaining to matrimonial disputes respectively.
Besides some members were given more responsibilities regarding construction of building, admission to various professional colleges and raising of funds for the organisation.
T K Jigyasu vice president, ASKPC condemned the local administration for Mattan episode of July 13 and accused it of not respecting the verdict of Apex Court of the country.
B B Gosani assured full support to Mattan temple management. S C Chatta, Ravinder Raina, Veena Gurtu, S K Bhat, B L Handoo, B K Wantoo, Chand Ji Bhat and Mrs Daizy Khashoo also addressed the meeting.
